Victoria, British Columbia

Victoria, welcomes you with this beautiful Parliament building.

Victoria, welcomes you with their beautiful Parliament building.

The second i stepped off the boat i was welcomed by the customs guards as usual, but unlike others they were quit pleasant. Walking round beautiful Victoria, one may fall instantly in love with this little cute town. My adventure began with me wondering around. In this little town you are not sure what you'll come across. As a solo traveler i never felt in danger. The towns people are very nice and friendly was were able to help direct me to the right places.

I visited Victoria in the fall time. Believe me when i say this is one colorful town. Visiting during fall time made for great pictures. Not many people on the streets. A bit chilly outside but i was fine with a light jacket and pants, but i also don't get cold very easily.

So i hit the ground running. Not literally of course, but i stumbled upon many interesting sites. One of my favorites was coming across a cute little tea shop. My love for tea drew me into this shop where i spend a lot of time but enjoyed ever second of it. While looking around i also was hoping they would offer me a job so i could stay forever. Unfortunately that also didn't happen. But the workers where so very kind and helpful. They also informed me that they ship to the U.S. so i could continue to receive tea from them even after my travels were over. Even if you just pop your head in for a quick second, you'll be in the same boat as me and want to buy all their cute tea cups! https://silkroadteastore.com/ Check them out! Every tea i tried was amazing. But onto the next spot.

SIlk Road a must when visiting Victoria, even if its just a quick visit.

The streets of Victoria

Victoria has a 3 story mall, for all you who love shopping. Very clean and cheery.

Walking the streets hopefully you will run into these amazing banjo players!

After venturing down town and doing a little bit more shopping, My journey brought me down by the fisherman's wharf. I was told to be ready for a colorful surprise. Colorful surprise i found indeed. At the fisherman's wharf your are able to enjoy these colorful little shops and get some amazing food! I'd definitely recommend the calm chowder! Perfect for a crisp fall evening. Surrounded by beautiful views.

A look out on small harbor

My clam chowder for the day. Yes the bread was as amazing as it looks!

My trip to Victoria was short and sweet. There was many things i was unable to see like the Butchart Gardens but it just gives me a reason to go back and visit this beautiful town that stole my heart.
